Our producer
Our farm is a large, restored early-1800s family-owned vineyard estate, located between the Silves, Monchique, and Lagoa in the Algarve.
The estate was founded in 1810 by the count of Silves and is still in the possession of the family—and it’s a family story where a passion for the land, food, and entertaining merges with a love of local heritage, beauty, and conservation.
Working with the historic buildings and the old vineyards and olive trees that surround them, we have created a thoughtful place with love and attention on every detail.
The estate’s vineyards are some of the oldest in the Algarve and provide the indigenous grapes, which make up our award-winning wines, and around the estate, there are cottages that can host guests who want to be part of our history.
We hope you experience a real connection to the land, the seasons, and to nature, and we invite you to rest, relax, and enjoy this Algarve country idyll.
A long table is set daily at the estate, and this time, you’re our guest.

We wanted to do something different while on holiday in Vale Do Lobo, and booked a lunch with paired wine tastings - best day of our holiday so far! The setting is just beautiful, lunch table laid out under a 2000 year old Olive tree with the vineyards in the background. The food was spectacular - they managed to seamlessly cater for all sorts of food allergies and dietary requirements - each moment was out of this world. The winemaker told us all about each wine we tasted and had a great way of drawing us into the story of each wine. The short tour of the vineyards after lunch brought it all full circle. Absolutely fabulous day out - highly recommended.
We did the Farmers Table for lunch with wine pairings and it was excellent. Beautiful setting, delicious food and the wine was lovely (we bought some after!) We were a group of four friends and I would definitely recommend. Friendly service and one of our favourite meals.
I highly recommend this lunch experience. We were treated to a delicious four course meal of authentic Portuguese food paired with complementary wine. Lunch was served outside in a beautiful setting. The hostess was very knowledgeable about the wines. It was a great day out for us and our friends visiting from the United States.
We had a memorable lunch! The food and wine were wonderful, and the hospitality of Ricardo and everyone else at the vineyard was top notch. And, the beautiful setting can’t be beat. I recommend highly.
