Do you want to make wheat and corn bread?
Portuguese bread, or “pão” in Portuguese, is a central element in Portuguese cuisine. There are several types of traditional Portuguese bread, each with its own unique characteristics.
Our producer learned from her grandmother, she remembers the typical homemade bread baked in a wood-burning oven. The grandchildren were eagerly waiting to eat the little snacks with olive oil and sugar.
In this experience, we will share with you all the knowledge of how to make homemade, typical mountain wheat and corn bread.
At the end we will have our snack with warm bread with olive oil and sugar, butter, pumpkin jam, accompanied by tea, coffee and milk.
What is included
- Arrival at the farm and welcome by the producer
- Bread making workshop:
- bread kneading experience (wheat bread and cornbread)
- heating the wood burning oven
- experiment to bake bread
- Tasting warm bread with olive oil and sugar, butter, pumpkin jam, accompanied by tea, coffee and milk.
