Lamego Grape Harvest Program

Enjoy an amazing grape harvest experience close to Lamego!

Visit one of the oldest and more emblematic wine estates of the Douro region, located in Lamego.

The activity begins early in the morning, with the distribution of the necessary equipment for the harvest, followed by a traditional “mata-bicho”. After the strengthening of the stomach, it will be time to leave for the harvest, ending in the wine press with the treading of the grapes, as tradition says.

After the treading of the grapes, you will enjoy a guided visit to the estate, where you will know our vineyards, wine press, winery, and shop, where you can purchase our products. At the end, a typical harvest lunch awaits you, consisting of 1 starter, 1 main course, 1 dessert and a selection of drinks.

Full day of Harvest.
With Breakfast, cut of the grape, followed by buffet lunch, wine tasting and Lagarada (Grape stomping)

What is included

• 10.00 AM: It will be given to you a straw hat, tobacconist scarf, cutting scissors and a bucket
• 10.30 AM: Mata-bicho: It will be served onion soup and baked sardines on a slice of corn bread with olive oil. With wines and mineral water
• 11.00 AM: Departure to the vineyards
• 12.30 PM: Pressing of the grapes in the “lagares”
• 1.30 PM: Guided Tour
• 2.00 PM: Typical Harvest Lunch. Drinks included
• 3.30 PM: Wine tasting
• 4:00 PM: End of the Programe
