We live on a beautiful farm, in which 2 hectares are reserved for planting and 6 hectares are dedicated to enjoying nature. In this paradise, we are conscious of our impact on the ecosystem. We recognise the added value and resources it provides and, the unique quality that it grants our products. Nature is extremely generous, any square meter of land can produce abundantly if we respect it and pay attention to the signs it gives us. In our agricultural journey, we have always kept balance and regeneration in mind. It is important to work together with nature, maintaining its genetic, cultural and environmental heritage. We uphold this belief by respecting the seasons, producing native species, adapting to the available resources, using sustainable agricultural practices, and respecting the soil. All in all, an extension of respect to all aspects of our surrounding environment.
As a farm dedicated to planting aromatic and medicinal herbs organically, we are aware of the importance of biodiversity and we have taken multiple actions to support it. We revitalized our farm’s century-old olive grove; we created an apiary, due to the great importance of bees for the ecosystem; and we collected and propagated species of endemic and native wild plants. We also planted melliferous flowers and enriched our riparian gallery with more species of trees and shrubs, in order to provide more shelter for the birdlife that already exists there. Next to our pond, and in order to retain water and provide shelter for a variety of bird species, we plant and replace plantspical of this ecosystem. We constantly seek a balance. We are only a plantation of aromatic herbs, we strive for a balances balanced ecosystem.
