Have a special Grape Harvest Experience close to Beja!

This project with 114 hectares, located in Vidigueira, a region of Alentejo with a great tradition in wine production with more than 2000 years of history.

Among the extensive vineyards of our Wines, at the highest point of Herdade do Moinho Branco, the winery leaves no one indifferent, with its contemporary lines, wide area, and illuminated by natural light. The winery is built in a 4000 m² building of bioclimatic architecture, designed to use gravity in the various stages of production.

The predominant grape variety is Antão Vaz, followed by Arinto, Verdelho, Síria, and Alvarinho. There is also a small plot of vineyard (the only one in Portugal) exceptionally devoted to Chenin Blanc, a variety originally from the Loire Valley and widely used in South Africa, as well as in Napa Valley. The remaining area houses red grape varieties, with Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Miuda, and Aragonez predominating.

On the top floor of the winery, there is a welcoming area dedicated to wine tourism, which includes the winery restaurant, tasting area, leisure area, and wine shop. We invite you to visit our Winery and participate in a harvest activity, a unique experience that combines the natural beauty of the vineyard landscape with the culture and tradition of wine.

Upon arrival at the Winery, you will receive a grape-picking kit that you will use throughout the day in the activity.

During the harvest, you will take part in the picking of the grapes and the transport of the grapes to the winery, unloading, sorting, cleaning, and then treading the grapes, where you will taste the grape must. At the end of this process, there will be a guided visit to the whole winery.

After the visit, it will be time to enjoy a wine tasting, which will allow you to appreciate and learn about the different types of wine, their characteristics, and their unique flavours.

To finish this harvest day, the group will gather around a large table, where lunch will be served, consisting of a typical meal from Alentejo.

Join us, and share this passion!
