Our producer
With a unique view over the Zêzere river Glacier Valley, Casa Cerro da Correia is a quiet local lodging (36934/AL) at the heart of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
The house was originally built in 1953 by our grandparents, José Maria Direito and Elvira Direito, as a vacation house. Located at 900 meters of altitude, the house has four bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, a dining room and two bathrooms. Outside, you’ll find a patio, perfect for al fresco meals or a glass of wine, and the gardens, which extend all the way to the pinewood, where you may rest, go for a walk, or enjoy a nice picnic.
The connection of Casa Cerro da Correia to nature is also present through a young orchard and a vegetable garden with fresh produce typical of mountain agriculture.
